THE NATURAL POOLS OF AGAETE: RELAXATION BETWEEN VOLCANIC ROCKS AND OCEAN
The Agaete Natural Pools, also called Las Salinas, are located on the northwest coast of Gran Canaria. There are three pools of water formed by volcanic lavaconnected by tunnels under the sea. Here you can swimming in clear waterprotected from the strong waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
Nearby is Puerto de las Nieves, a small fishing village with white houses, a pleasant promenade and restaurants serving fresh fish.

📍 How to get there
By car: It takes about 30 minutes from Las Palmas along the GC-2 road. There are car parks near the pools
By bus: Route 103 connects Las Palmas with Puerto de las Nieve
On Foot: The pools are a few minutes' walk from the centre of Agaete.
