THE MASPALOMAS LIGHTHOUSE: HISTORICAL SYMBOL
The Lighthouse of Maspalomas is located at the southern end of the island and is a historical construction guiding sailors since 1890. It is 55 metres high and dominates the coastal landscape, with a view of the famous Maspalomas dunes and the Atlantic Ocean. Today it is not only a landmark for sailors, but also hosts a free museum which tells the history and culture of the island.

By car: is easily reached by the GC-1 road, there are parking spaces near the lighthouse
